Ruth Molloy
Ruth makes highly stylised steel sculptures. Her bold imagery informed by her training and earlier work as a graphic designer for TV. Ruth's laser cut images are mainly of of trees, leaping hares and seabirds. Openwork pattern cut into the flat hard steel create a sense of drawing with metal.

Ruth makes free standing sculptures and wall mounted panels. Patinated by hand to create a mellow rust like finish coated with a protective varnish, their changing shadows cast on hard surfaces become integral to the design of the piece.

Ruth's sculptures are equally at home in interior and exterior spaces.
