Kevin Stamper
Kevin Stamper has always been fascinated by the tipping point at which the eye sees a simple collection of coloured squares, and the mind tries to organise them into an identifiable object or image.
A maker of bespoke furniture, to which Kevin applies panels of hand dyed precision cut sycamore veneers, each unique, having a natural grain, texture and pattern. Recently he has embarked on a series of trinket boxes to compliment his larger pieces.
Kevin's work, widely collected in Europe and North America, has featured in books and publications including House and Garden and the Wall Street Journal, and received several awards from the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
