Jane Walker
Jane's training in illustration and printmaking led to a career in design for television, textiles and ceramics, before turning to printmaking, notably with lino.

Her assured graphic style is informed by a fascination with mid 20 century European and Scandinavian art movements. Stylised still life designs, flat planes and a rich palate, are the hallmarks of Jane's highly distinctive imagery. Her single block reduction lino prints are made in very small editions by a technique which involves cutting away and inking each colour layer by layer. The process destroys the block so that the print can never be repeated.
