Carry Akroyd
Carry Akroyd is a painter printmaker whose major subject is the relationship between the farmed landscape and wildlife.

Her main interests, colour and composition within the limitations of handmade printmaking. Her serigraphs (screenprints) are made using layers of your paper stencils, some with a painterly application of ink.

Carry exhibits widely, has illustrated several books and a monthly image for the Bird of the Month column for the Oldie. Elected to the Society of Wildlife Artists in 2000 she exhibits with them annually and has worked on a number of their projects in collaboration with the Wildlife Trust and Forestry Commission.
